Gary, Nicola and Hugo have spent the last week at their second home here at Maples, using their stunning Carnaby Chantry Lodge as a base for their travels.

Days out when they fancy it. Back to Maples when they’re ready. Time to chill, relax and simply enjoy having somewhere of their own to escape to.

A big flex for any holiday park is having owners who take real pride in their holiday homes.

It makes walking round park on evening like this, that much better.

Beautifully kept caravans, tidy plots and owners who genuinely care about where they spend their time.

It also makes a huge difference to how a park looks and feels, and we’re very lucky to have that at Maples Country Park.

Broken down, our annual pitch fee works out at roughly:

£312.50 a month
£72 a week
Just over £10 a day

And we’re proud to have some of the lowest pitch fees in the area.

That’s deliberate.

We want our bases full. We want our owners comfortable. And most importantly, we want people to come to Maples, love owning here and stay with us for a long time.

Our attitude towards pitch fees has never been “can you afford it?”

It’s “are we doing enough for you to justify it?”

That means maintaining standards, continually investing in the park, getting things done and remaining small enough that we know our owners by name, not by pitch number.

£3,750 is still a significant amount of money. We don’t lose sight of that just because it’s paid once a year.

Keeping fees sensible and looking after the people already here makes far more sense to us than constantly chasing bigger numbers.
