I would just like to say merry Christmas to all of my friends and customers.
It's been a busy year and I would like to thank everyone for all of your support its greatly appreciated!
Here are a few pictures from this year.
We realy need to take more photographs of work carried out definitely something i would like to do more.
Looking forward to new projects and challenges next year brings through the doors.

We made a slammed n cammed choice award for the viva skeg vegas classic vw show which Matt from Danger Sign pinstriped for us!
After a good look around we came to the decision that Chris Howes from Lowdown Transporters deserved it for his awesome body dropped splitscreen panelvan!
It ticked all the boxes for us!

Not posted in a little while so here's some photos taken from our favourite show of the year!
Viva Skeg Vegas Classic Volkswagen Show.
As always we wasn't disappointed.
Jack's mk1 Golf won an award which we have put so much effort into so that was fantastic!
We can't thank Toby, Sally and all skeg vegas crew for putting so much effort into this show and making it so great
also for providing us with a great spot to have a business stand and auto jumble.
We all enjoyed ourselves.
Made new freinds and gained new customers which is always great!

So the Slammed N Cammed crew spent some much needed time out over the weekend at Bug Jam santa pod.
We managed to get Jack's mk1 golf there after a long 10 painstaking year resto.
We have put so much work into this build.
Along with his brother Reece with his mk1 jetta we have been working on.
We got a great response and realy enjoyed our selves.
The mk1 lt got some spray paint for a laugh as its due for a freshen up soon anyway.
It made alot of people smile so thats great.
So many inspiring builds to look at over the weekend and some real quick cars!
The UK has some seriously talented and dedicated car guys.

Been working on a bit of a rare car today an austin maestro LX. Not to everyone's taste but a pretty cool classic you dont see verry often it was a 1 owner from new until he died and left it to the current owner. Despite the obvious rot it is surprisingly solid everywhere else and not been welded so quite impressive for a car that was considered a rot box back in the day. As you can see in the photos I'm replacing the rear arches and I'm quite pleased with how the new arch fits even tho it's a pattern part and I had to do some adjustment to make it fit perfect.

Doing some wiring on a customers car and look what I found bad soilder joints and a red wire used as a ground 😓 ... bad wiring is dangerous and can burn down your project so be careful who you trust to do your wiring if you dont do it yourself.

Hi I'm jake and I run Slammed N Cammed. I thought I'd introduce myself. I am a fully qualified level 3 mechanic with engineering background been messing with spanners all my life and later on modifying and repairing classics since I was 13 when I bought my first beetle . I can weld mig and stainless Tig. I can do things from full restoration (not including paint yet😉) to servicing and repairs but modifying and custom one off work is what I love. I want to try and stick to classic retro and vintage vehicles but work is work so I'm happy to discuss anything you could possibly want to do with your vehicle and I'm not a vw snob ilove other classics too. Ive just started this business as its bin a dream since I was young soo Here's some of my previous and current vehicles and friends cars too and work I've done... mostly in my old tiny workshop but I thought I'd just give everyone an idea of what I can do and who I am
