Ray Race Cars Ray Racecar engineering have been manufacturing race cars since 1970.

With founder Bert Ray, his brother Frank Ray and Bert's son Gavin Ray, it has been producing cars for 50 years, and is the oldest manufacturer of Formula Fords that is still competing, winning races and championships.

Anthony Amato led the championship from early on in the season, right to the end.

We would also like to congratulate Ben Smith on a solid 3rd place finish in the championship in his rookie year.

A big congratulations to Ian Campbell and his family team on winning the 2026 Kirkistown Northern Ireland formula ford championship !!!!
Also to Ben Smith on finishing 2nd in the championship in his first season of ff1600 !!!

This weekend we also head into the final round of the British ff1600 super series with Ammonite Motorsports, Anthony Amato in the championship lead and Ben Smith 3rd in the standings. 👍

The new Ray GR2027 for Liroy Stuart was collected on Monday by Bernard Dolan.
It had it's first shake down test yesterday at castle Coombe with Charlie Mann behind the wheel and was immediately on the pace straight out of the box.
Charlie commented that the balance was great and could he have one !!!😀

RAY GR2027, THE REVEAL!!!!

We haven't posted anything for quite a while so we thought we should catch up with all the news from the last few months...

We haven't posted anything for quite a while so we thought we should catch up with all the news from the last few months.
As we head towards the end of the season and an away round in Kirkistown Northern Ireland, Ray ff1600 currently lead the UK 🇬🇧 super series with Ammonite Motorsports driver Anthony Amato and also 3rd position with Ben Smith (son of Darwin).
Anthony also recently also won the much coveted Bert Ray Memorial Trophy.
We are also leading the Kirkistown Northern Ireland championship with Ian Campbell and the same Ben Smith in 2nd in the standings.
We will over the next couple of weeks post articles on the season so far.
We have added a sneak peak picture of the new Ray GR2027.
That will be leaving the factory on Monday for a new customer.
More photos will follow over the coming days.
