We recently had the pleasure of having this E46 330i touring back in to us for more work.
Customer had asked us to do a few jobs which included the following:
✅ Wire up the front fog lights after the customer had fitted the M sport front bumper - We repined the plug properly instead of cutting and joining the tails supplied. While the bumper was off, we were also asked to remove the aux fan.
✅ Drop the exhaust, prop and fuel tank in order to remake the rear brake lines after the factory ones had corroded - which is very common. Customer also supplied new flexi hoses that were fitted and the whole system bleed which fresh fluid. We also found the fuel filter was extremely old and recommended to replace it while we were there.
✅ Supply and fit front ABS sensor
✅ Fit supplied new intake boots
✅ Supply and fit M52 exhaust manifolds, which meant losing the cats in the factory manifolds and welding the correct flanges to the down pipes to bolt to the manifolds. While we had the engine mounts out, we'd told the customer they were perished, which the customer was already aware of. We replaced these while there to save a future trip to us and additional labour.
✅ We booked the car for an MOT, which it passed with just 1 advisory being a minor chip in the windscreen!
