We're delighted to announce the sale of this fantastic Evo IX GT, sold on a Sale or Return basis for a very good customer of ours.
Originally imported from J*pan by our friends at Torque GT and supplied to its previous owner, this Evo has spent many years being cherished, maintained, and thoroughly enjoyed. As with all great enthusiast-owned cars, the time eventually comes to pass the keys to the next custodian, and we're pleased to say this one is now heading back up country to begin its next chapter.
This exceptionally clean 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GT perfectly combines the lightweight, driver-focused character of the RS with the comfort and convenience features of the GSR. Showing just 80,281km, it arrived with an impressive history file and remains one of the cleanest examples we've had the pleasure of offering.
Powered by the legendary 2.0L 4G63T and producing around 350whp, this Evo featured a carefully selected list of upgrades including a Tomei turbo setup, Fujitsubo exhaust, HKS intake, brand-new Tein Flex-Z coilovers, RS rear differential, and fresh Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Backed up by a rust-free underside, comprehensive J*panese history, and a box of original OEM parts, it represented exactly the sort of Evolution enthusiasts are searching for.
