It never ceases to amaze me how dedicated and determined my guys are!
It doesn’t matter if it’s an F40, a 275 or a Ferrari Mondial the same amount of passion and dedication goes in to producing the absolute perfection we are famous for!
It’s a passion!
Talking of passion, this 1981 Ferrari Mondial 8 is an Italian delivered car but unfortunately stood in a lean to shed most of its life and suffered badly mechanically but not bodily even seizing the engine because the corroded valves stuck wide open preventing the motor to turn.
We were entrusting by our client to do what was necessary to bring this car alive again but, and here’s the most interesting part. We hadn’t to make it look like it was restored last Tuesday, it had to look like it was 45 yrs old but trapped in a time bubble!
We’re good at doing that! Blinking “Art Forges”, that’s what we are! Here are some photos of the journey!
Reminds me of when I prepared a brand new Mondial 8 for a client back in 1981 who half lived in the south of France. My task was to sort all the new car niggles and drive it down to his place in Cannes then fly back. Having done several road tests sorting initial niggles on this one a tear came to my eye, again!
Am I really actually time travelling!
