Unbelievably sad news, Keith was a friend, genuine fella, and truly brilliant advocate for the coach industry.

Technical Trainer & Assessor – MOT
Full time & Permanent role
Who are VOCS Ltd?
We are a local company based in Goostrey, and have been providing consultancy & training to the motor industry for over 8 years.
We are looking to expand our services are hoping to recruit a further technical assessor to deliver training to the motor vehicle industry in all aspects of MOT training, Light vehicle inspection and potentially Electric vehicle.
Delivering advice and assistance to our large client base will also be required.
Ideally someone with extensive experience as a motor technician and in delivery of training.
You must be confident, a good communicator and well-organised.

Information Update from DVSA

An updated load safety code of practice has been launched by DVSA and HSE.

DVSA have worked with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and industry stakeholders to publish an updated code of practice on load security.

It will help vehicle operators, drivers and those involved in the loading of a vehicle to understand their responsibilities when transporting different loads and how to make them safe.

The code of practice replaces all other load security guidance previously published on GOV.UK.

We're very excited to share that our Level 4 Electric / Hybrid Electric vehicle training course is up and running

….. and we’re taking bookings 🤩

The course runs for 2 days on-site plus a written assessment

We have spaces on the following dates:

29th & 30th March
24th & 25th April

If you're looking to expand your servicing and repair work to include electric / hybrid electric vehicles then it’s important that your technicians get the right type of training

Repairing vehicles that require live working or access to the battery internals will require a Level 4 qualification

It’s important however that you have achieved your Level 3 award before you can move on to Level 4.

Our Level 3 Award in Electric / Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement runs regularly through-out the year. It’s a 3 day on-site course.
