🔧 Ford S-Max in with us today! 🔧
This S-Max came in needing some suspension and maintenance work. We carried out:

✅ Rear trailing arm bushes
✅ Front drop links
✅ Rear road spring
✅ Auxiliary belt replacement

Everything fitted, checked over, and now it's back to being tip-top and driving as it should! 👌🚗

🔧 Another vehicle back on the road! 🔧
Today we had the first of the fleet from in with us after a burst water pipe caused the engine to overheat. The overheating led to the water pump failing, so we carried out the following repairs:

✅ New water pump fitted
✅ New water pipe system installed
✅ Cooling system bled and checked
✅ Oil service completed
✅ Rear brake pads replaced

This old workhorse is now back where it belongs – on the road and ready for work again. 💪🚚

🔧🚗 Toyota Aygo in this morning running rough with a misfire. After diagnosis, the fault was found to be worn spark plugs and a failed cylinder 2 coil pack.

✅ New spark plugs needed

✅ Fault found and diagnosed properly

Another job in today at Dans Motor Mechanics 🔧
Ford Fiesta in this morning for a new battery, thermostat housing and thermostat. Finished off with fresh antifreeze and a full system bleed to keep everything running at the right temperature ❄️🔥

🚗 Ford Ka in today after suddenly losing drive 🚨
After carrying out a full inspection 🔍, we found the near side front driveshaft had snapped at the joint ❌. We replaced it with a brand new driveshaft 🔧, then drained and refilled the gearbox with fresh oil 🛢️ to ensure everything is running smoothly again.

All repaired and back on the road where it belongs ✅👌

Yesterday we recovered a Ford Fiesta from a customer’s address due to a broken front road spring.
Thanks to D&D Recovery, we got the vehicle back to the workshop quickly and safely.
