Today the work truck got treated to some new old hoops. Of course it had to be a set of genuine Hayashi Streets. One of my all time favourite wheels. Did you know they first started producing these wheels in 1969, yes these top shelf wheels have been in production for over 50 years!

We've had these wheels in the warehouse for over a year so it's about time they went on something.

Another gorgeous time warp interior. The car remains in it's full non modified condition and was originally supplied by Dan Perkins Nissan dealership.
Pop up headlights ✅
Pop out windows ✅
Manual & Turbo ✅
Sunroof, air conditioning, electric windows, original stereo, you name it this old school bad boy has it!

Rocking some sun fade patina like a badge of honour, the only thing stopping this from being on the road with an MOT is a minor blow on the exhaust.
All glass and plastics in excellent condition and even puts a lot of modern cars to shame.

Wheels refurbished by with new tyres fitted for good measure.
Starts first turn of the key, idles lovely and drives well. Restore the paint to concourse, or slam on some new .wheels ? You decide 😎

Could this barn find Celica Supra be your next project?

This absolutely time warp MA61 has just 37k miles on the clock. Original tool kit, jack, Toyota handbooks and spare wheel all included.
Believed to be one of the earliest in the country and will be Tax & MOT exempt in April!

Despite looking great, it is in need of some remedial work. The boot has seen better days and the o/s/r quarter will want some attention.
Lastly the bottom end has developed a light knock so factor in some new shells into your budget.

This car is incredibly well specced considering it's age, electric windows, central locking, power steering, lumbar support seats, cruise control, electric aerial, electric sunroof, adjustable steering column, air conditioning... Even has the original tape cassette radio!

"So what's the price?" I hear you ask, this mighty Celica Supra can be yours, as is, for the low sum of just £4500.

Cut the springs, forget about the rust, slap on some Work Equip 40's and be the coolest kid on the block 😎👌🏼

After a year of putting it off and making excuses, I finally made a start piecing the 964 C2 back together.

Cleaned up the original glass which was likely tinted in Japan and had well aged sticky residue on the rear screen.
Rear quarters were also cleaned, with stickers removed and refitted.

The plan always was to clear the workshop to a point of having it almost sterile for this process and vlog the whole thing but after today, I'm keen to simply continue the progress... But I will clean the garage for better pictures at least. That'll be my new year's resolution! 😅

Saying goodbye to the PS. Sometimes you have to admit defeat and this is one of those things.
As my children get older I need to spend more of my time with them and help with their development... as a result I have less time for my own project cars.

The silver lining is that she's going to a great home. Can't wait for Alex to get her finished and on the road. HOPEFULLY he keeps the OEM arches and colour scheme, would be a real shame to lose another s-bidy to cheap overfenders 🤞

Even if it doesn't, seeing it back together and clean(ish) always boosts Motivation. It's come a long way from how it landed in the UK originally.
