Unfortunately, I have recently found out that there is a company advertising on Google under the exact same name as my registered business Total Mobile Tyres!
This isn’t just having a negative impact on my business sales/opportunities but I have very recently found out that they are operating in the local area and also providing a very poor service and even making mistakes and caused damage to a customers car!
This is extremely damaging for my business name so I just wanted to reassure everyone that please be careful. They are not even a mobile tyre fitting company, they sub work out to the cheapest mobile fitter they can find via WhatsApp groups that have been set up. They charge customers higher prices than the average cost also giving the mobile tyre fitting business a bad name! They also sometimes use unqualified technicians and use equipment that is not sufficient for the job, basically Cowboys, so be extremely careful when using one of these companies advertising as emergency tyre fitters that only have a Google landing page, if you are not able to leave reviews then it will be a company that is doing the same thing, sadly it is now very common and people are advertising as businesses on Google, making money and then just sub the work out and not caring about customer service or returning customers, they just want to make as much money as they can there and then!
This company has managed to get my old domain name and website address and even based their Google landing page almost exactly the same as my old one. Sadly I didn’t get round to renewing my domain name as the company who originally did my website ceased trading and didn’t let me know during the pandemic!
I have contacted Google and them directly but when I spoke to the person on the phone they could hardly speak English, put me on hold for almost 20 minutes and then said somebody would call me back. This is now happened on three occasions. I have also reported it to Google as a misleading advertisement but still waiting their response.
So just to be clear, my business is the legit one on Google where you can actually leave reviews. I do not have a website called total Mobile Tyres thats the company that’s stolen my name! Please be aware, they are overpriced and under qualified by the sounds of it!
