Mid week racing, starting tomorrow 6th May

Who's ready for mid week racing?

Round 1 starts on the 6th of May
Gates open at 5:45pm
1 round of qualifying
(best consecutive 5 laps combined)
2 finals because its all about the racing!

This weekend is our round of the 4wd East of England Regional series.

Gates open at 7:30am.

Please do not queue outside the gates, there is no reason to get to the track so early and we do not want to annoy our landlord.

Drivers briefing will be around 8:45am anyway.

Yesterday was the final round of the 25/26 winter series.
The rain defeated us.
Meeting was stopped before the fibals awarding points for qualifying.

The championship
4wd was wrapped up by Paul Timberlake with some early round dominance.
2wd was a 2 horse race between Kit Jones and Alex Carter.
2wd Vintage was down to attendance unfortunately, Andy Windsor turned up for the series win.

Winners on the day were
Jason Bing in 4wd
Andy Windsor in 2wd Vintage
The 2wd winner officially was Alex Carter but, due to the rain flooding parts of the track during qualifying meaning the tq was a quicker run in the last round. It was decided there would be a joint win innthe round and championship between Kit and Alex.

Well done to everyone that competed innthe championship.

A low grip day, starting wet, went greasy and ate our silver tyres!
