Old Cars – New Friends 🚗💫
Welcome to the official Morris Register Facebook Group – the home for everyone who loves pre-1940 Morris cars and Morris Commercials.

The forerunner of the Morris Register, The Morris Eight Tourer Club, was formed in 1960. Over the following years, and with increasing pressure from owners of Morris Eight saloons and other Morris models, the club grew rapidly with a change in name initially to “the Morris Eight Tourer Club and 10/25 Register”. In 1968, it was decided to shorten the Club's name to "Morris Register" and today the club caters for owners and enthusiasts of all Morris cars and vans of a type first designed before 1940 and of Morris Commercial vehicles of a similar time frame. After celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of our club in 2020, and the ninetieth anniversary of the Morris 8 in 2024, the Morris Register continues to go from strength to strength with some 2,000 members worldwide.

🚗🌳 Morris Fest 2026 is getting closer! 🌳🚗

The Morris Fest Road Run has now been fully tested and we're delighted to say it's one of our best yet!

This year’s route heads out in a completely different direction, taking you along a wonderful mix of scenic roads through some of Nottinghamshire’s most picturesque villages. Along the way you'll discover farm shops, tea rooms, an ice cream parlour, a traditional windmill, canals, museums, petrol stations, supermarkets and plenty of country pubs.

(Just remember – it's a road run, not a pub crawl! Please don't drink and drive. 🍺🚫)

Whether you choose to stop and explore or simply enjoy the drive in your Morris, this is a run not to be missed and a fantastic way to experience the beautiful countryside surrounding

Thoresby Park.
If you haven't already booked, make sure you register for Morris Fest 2026 today!

📅 31 July – 2 August 2026
📍 Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire
