We are seeking an experienced Operations Controller to become the operational heartbeat of our business. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a background in a Porsche Centre, prestige dealership, or high-end independent specialist who understands what premium customers expect.
The Opportunity
As Operations Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day flow of our workshop, ensuring every vehicle progresses seamlessly from booking through to completion. Working closely with our technicians, customers, and suppliers, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency, quality, and reputation that LAP 911 is known for.
This is more than an administration role—it’s an opportunity to shape the customer journey and help drive operational excellence within a growing Porsche specialist.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage daily workshop operations to maximise productivity and efficiency.
* Build lasting relationships with Porsche owners through exceptional communication and customer care.
* Schedule servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and performance projects.
* Produce accurate estimates, quotations, invoices, and workshop documentation.
* Manage parts procurement and supplier relationships to minimise downtime.
* Monitor work in progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved.
* Collaborate with technicians to optimise workshop capacity and planning.
* Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, organisation, and attention to detail.
About You
We’re looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Ideally, you’ll have:
* Experience within a Porsche Centre, prestige automotive dealership, or specialist independent workshop.
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, Operations Controller, Aftersales Advisor, or similar role.
* Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Confidence using workshop management systems and digital platforms.
* A genuine passion for Porsche and the prestige automotive sector.
* A professional, positive, and solutions-focused approach.
