Clutch failure on a Peugeot 3008 and it happened without much warning.

Common signs to look out for:
-Difficulty getting into gear
-Burning smell
-Clutch slipping or revs jumping
-Pedal feeling different

Ignore it… and it can go from minor to full failure quickly.

Is your Wet belt due??

If you drive a Citrien C3 and you've done over 50,000 miles but aren’t sure when your belt was last changed, it’s worth checking…..
Prevention is always cheaper than an engine rebuild.

Don't risk your wet belt cracking and on the verge of snapping.

On EcoBoost engines, the wet belt runs inside the engine and is lubricated by oil. Over time, the belt material can degrade, crack and shed debris into the oil system.

If it fails, it can lead to:
• Loss of oil pressure
• Engine damage
• Complete engine failure

In this case, the belt was breaking down and the water pump was replaced at the same time — the sensible approach while everything is apart.

These engines are known for wet belt issues, which is why servicing with the correct oil and sticking to maintenance schedules is essential.
