Our experience with Wheelbase in Hersham was excellent. They rectified an early fault with our vehicle and fully repaired at their expense. We were even picked up from the train station. You won’t know how good a business is until you see how they deal with something when it goes wrong. Would definitely buy a car from them again.

Valeter/Driver required. Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6pm and every other Saturday 9am – 1pm
As a Wheelbase Valet/Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.
This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.
Day-to-day duties
• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer
• Using a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals
• Making sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers' instructions and PPE recommendations
• Working to set timeframes and targets
• Driving – moving vehicles around within the dealership and to other sites
Essential requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• High level of attention to detail
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to multi-task
Valet experience is preferred, but full training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria.
