You can see the price. You can see the tread. But can you see the tyre's past?

That's the problem with part-worn tyres.

Damage caused by impacts, under-inflation or previous repairs may not always be visible externally, but can significantly weaken structural integrity. Even where tread depth appears acceptable, hidden defects can lead to sudden failure.

A part-worn tyre comes with an uncertain history, so appearance alone can't tell you everything you need to know.

Buy from reputable sources and ensure tyres are correctly marked, compliant and suitable for your vehicle. Where possible, new tyres remain the safest option.

Don't let an unknown past become part of your next journey.

Tyre Fitter/Technician, Hereford City Centre

We urgently require a full-time Tyre fitter/technician at Hereford Tyres.

We are one of Hereford’s leading independent tyre specialists supplying retail, fleet and trade customers.

The day-to-day role is hands on, duties include tyre fitting, puncture repairs, battery fitting, wheel alignment, tyre deliveries and mobile tyre fitting.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role but not essential as full training will be given.

You will be able to work as part of a team, deal with customer sales enquiries and undertake admin duties such as stock control etc.

Good customer-facing, telephone and computer skills and a full, clean UK driving license are also required.

Candidates must live within easy reach of Hereford city centre.
