BRITISH RACING GREEN, GRENADINE RED & 160BHP 🇬🇧

This 2003 (53) MG TF 160 has just joined our current selection and offers a great deal and open-top British sports car for very sensible money.

Finished in British Racing Green with a matching Green fabric hood, it looks particularly smart but it’s when you open the door that this TF really stands out. The Half Leather and Grenadine Red Alcantara interior, with matching Grenadine trim extending across the door cards, centre console and dashboard, provides a fantastic contrast against the exterior. Anthracite Grey multi-spoke alloys and Red brake calipers complete the look.

Being the TF 160, it’s powered by the 1.8-litre VVC K-Series producing 160bhp, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. With the engine mounted immediately behind you and the roof down, there’s still plenty to remind you why these are such entertaining little sports cars.

BACK WITH US – A VERY WELL DOCUMENTED MGB GT 🇬🇧

We’re always pleased when one of our previous cars finds its way back to RFH Classics and this 1978 (S) MGB GT is a particularly nice one to welcome back.

Finished in Damask Red with Grey Leather, Red piping and contrasting Red carpets, we last sold the car approximately two years ago and it has returned to us and presents extremely well. However the real story with this GT is underneath the paintwork. In 2004 it underwent a major restoration using a new British Motor Heritage body shell that was completed at 71,680 miles.

The car has a great paperwork history too to support the work done which includes the original build sheet, workshop tick sheet, the restorer’s period brochure and invoices totalling £13,270 for the restoration. Today it shows a little over 97,600 miles, meaning it has covered only around 26,000 miles since the rebuild.

Inside, the Grey Leather with Red piping and matching Red carpets work beautifully with the Damask Red bodywork. Under the bonnet you have the familiar lead free 1798cc B-Series engine paired to a four-speed manual gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears.

Having sold the car previously, it’s particularly nice to see it return looking so well. It’s an attractive GT in its own right, but it’s the depth of documented history and the Heritage bodyshell restoration behind it that really make this one interesting.

Now available at RFH Classics is this lovely 1988 (F) Mercedes-Benz 300SL finished in the classic combination of Signal Red with Cream Leather and showing just 85,416 miles.

What really caught our attention with this one is the history. It comes with an impressive 24 recorded services, beginning at just 880 miles, together with its original maintenance booklet and driver’s handbook.

In the history it shows the car has been sold by The SL Shop on more than one occasion, most recently in 2016. Its last owner purchased it in 2022 with around 85,300 miles to form part of his private collection of more than 15 vehicles. Now Available – 1959 Rover P5 3-Litre Mk I

This is one of those cars where the more you look through the history, the more interesting it becomes…

Built on 22nd June 1959 and supplied new by Henlys Motors of Piccadilly, this very early Rover P5 subsequently found its way to Cagliari in Italy before returning to Britain in 2008 – and then remarkably staying with the same UK owner for the next 18 years.

Finished in its original factory combination of Shadow Green over Rush Green with a contrasting Beige interior, it really does have the presence you expect from one of Rover’s great post war saloons.

But it’s the history that makes this one particularly special. There’s an extensive file of photographs, literature, MOTs and documentation, it has appeared in Classic Car Weekly, Classic & Sports Car and Rover P5 magazine Take Five – and it even has a little television history, appearing in BBC’s Call the Midwife.

Showing 78,567 recorded miles and powered by Rover’s wonderfully smooth 3.0-litre straight-six, it has continued to be regularly MOT tested and its latest test runs through to May 2027 with no advisories.
