It has been announced today that the MOT Amnesty will end on 31st July. If your car needs a MOT from 1st August it will need to be done as normal. If your MOT was due prior to this you will still qualify for the six month extension.

A further update re MOT’s

AutoCare would like to remind motorists whose MOT is due in the coming weeks/months, that whilst the government have decided to extend MOT test deadlines until October, it does still mean if your vehicle is driven and is found to be unroadworthy you will still be fined and receive penalty points. The AutoCare Network as per Government directives, will remain open beyond March 30th will relevant safety practices in place and prioritising Key workers.
