This is where the four-week build ended up: on the Goodwood hill with Lando Norris behind the wheel.

Baggsy and the wider team delivered an extraordinary amount of work in a very short period. Billy’s contribution was the BluePrint Engines 427ci LS, the Holley 20-137 complete accessory-drive kit and support sourcing American components against the deadline.

It was a privilege to contribute to the project and see the completed S13 used as intended.

A four-week car build is not a normal parts order. Every delay affects fabrication, wiring, plumbing, mapping and testing further down the line.

Billy’s supplied the BluePrint 427ci LS and Holley 20-137 accessory-drive system, while helping the team obtain the American parts needed to keep the build moving.

The S13 was completed, tested once and taken to Goodwood Festival of Speed for Lando Norris to drive. The finished car is impressive, but the compressed build sequence is what shows the scale of the job.

The confirmed Billy’s specification on Baggsy’s S13 was a BluePrint Engines 427ci LS and a Holley 20-137 complete high-mount accessory-drive kit.

The Holley system includes the alternator, power-steering pump, air-conditioning compressor, tensioner, belt and pulleys in a coordinated package. On a four-week build, that matters. A complete, compatible system reduces the number of individual decisions and parts dependencies the team has to manage.

“Billy’s Speed Shop went above and beyond.”

That was Baggsy’s assessment during the four-week S13 build. Billy’s helped get the required parts ready and brought components in from America while the team worked against a very short Goodwood deadline.

For us, that is the useful side of supplying American performance parts. It is not simply finding a listing and taking an order. It is understanding the build, knowing what is needed and helping to keep the job moving.

Baggsy and his team built this S13 in four weeks, tested it once and took it to Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it was driven by Lando Norris.

The engine at the centre of the build is a BluePrint Engines 427ci LS supplied by Billy’s Speed Shop, together with a Holley 20-137 complete high-mount accessory-drive kit.

It was a demanding build with very little room for delay, so we are pleased to have played a part in getting the right American hardware into the team’s hands.

Sensor location decides how well your ECU reads the engine.
Sensor location decides how well your ECU reads the engine. Coolant temp in the head, IAT in the intake tract, wideband b**g in the primary. Each one placed where it sees actual conditions rather than a lagged average. That decision, made before the engine goes in, is worth more than an extra hour on the dyno.
