Getting ready for the warmer weather! ☀️❄️

Had this stunning L494 Range Rover Sport in the workshop today for an air conditioning service and regas.

This one takes the newer 1234yf gas, which requires a specific machine to do the job properly and safely. We've got it hooked up, vacuum tested to make sure there are no leaks, and fully recharged.

It's now blowing ice cold and completely ready for the summer months! 🥶

If your air con is feeling a bit weak or just blowing warm air, get it sorted before the hot weather really hits. We carry the equipment for both the old-style gas and the new 1234yf.

The ramps have been full all week! 🚙💨

It’s been a proper busy one this week for the team.

The touring Range Rover and trailer have been out collecting breakdowns non-stop—she's absolutely filthy from last weekend's adventures, but the work comes first! (Keep an eye out, I'll be sharing more about that trip soon!).

Back in the workshop, we’ve tackled a bit of everything:

🔧 Prepped for next week by collecting an engine for an L320 Range Rover Sport.

🔧 Sorted an L405 with a new air spring and 4 new tyres for a loyal customer over Ashbourne way.

🔧 Diagnosed that Kuga noise and got it fixed.

🔧 Wrestled two new steering racks into two different cars.

🔧 Powered through a diary full of interim and full services.

Gearbox fault? Not quite! 🙅‍♂️🚙

Had this Kuga in yesterday with a strange noise. It had already been to another garage who condemned the gearbox.

We had a dig around and found this completely collapsed engine mount was causing all the racket.

Look at the difference between the old, split rubber and the new one!

Got the new mount fitted and it’s driving perfectly again. Nothing beats the feeling of giving a customer a much smaller bill than they were expecting! 😅

Don't ignore the knocks and bangs, get them sorted.
