The festive season is rolling in, so here’s when you can tyre us over Christmas 🎅👇

🗓 Open until:
📍 Tuesday 23rd December – 4:30pm

❌ Closed:
📍 Wednesday 24th – Sunday 28th December (inclusive)
(Time to put our feet up and re-inflate with mince pies 🥧😉)

🗓 Open:
📍 Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th December
⏰ 9:00am – 1:00pm

❌ Closed:
📍 Wednesday 31st December & Thursday 1st January

✅ Back open:
📍 Friday 2nd January – normal opening hours
(All pumped up and ready to roll into 2025! 🚙💨)

🚨 Why Old Tyres Can Be Dangerous! 🚨

Check out this video — this is what can happen when a tyre ages out. Even if a tyre looks fine on the outside, rubber breaks down over time. Heat, sunlight, and general wear all cause the structure to weaken, and once a tyre passes around 6 years old, it can become unsafe — even if it’s never been used.

That’s why at Victoria Tyre Centre, we:
✅ Don’t sell second-hand or part-worn tyres
✅ Won’t fit customer-supplied tyres that are more than 6 years old

Your safety is our priority. 💪 Old tyres can fail without warning — sometimes with explosive results — so always check the manufacturing date (the four-digit DOT code on the sidewall).

Stay safe, and if you’re unsure about your tyres’ age, pop in and we’ll check them for you! 🛞🔧

🚨 *Pedal Power from Palace to Palace!* 🚨

This September, our very own Mark from Victoria Tyres and his brother-in-law Bill are swapping wheels for pedals and taking on an epic ride — cycling from Crystal Palace to the Palace of Versailles over 3 days! 🚴

They’re doing it to raise money for the brilliant team at St Christopher’s Hospice, and every bit of support helps keep them rolling in the right direction.

We’ve got a *wheely* exciting announcement! Our very own Joe is getting married this Saturday! 💍🎉 To celebrate, we'll be **closed** this **Saturday 28th** so the team can join him in *tyre*-fully tying the knot! 🎊💒

But don’t worry, we’ll be back in action and *rolling* again on **Monday 30th** at 8:30 AM sharp! 🕣🔧

Dear Valued Customers,

Hop into spring with Victoria Tyres! 🌼 As the Easter bunny prepares to make his rounds, we wanted to inform you that we'll be taking a short break to enjoy some egg-cellent festivities.

📅 Please note that Victoria Tyres will be closed from **Friday, March 29th** to **Monday, April 1st**, inclusive, for the Easter bank holiday weekend. But don't worry, we'll be back and ready to roll on **Tuesday, April 2nd**!

Thank you all for your fantastic support this year! 🙌 As we gear up for the festive season, here's a quick pit stop update on our Christmas opening times:

🔧 Closed from today until Dec 28th.
🕰 Open on Dec 28th from 0900-1500 (for those last-minute tyre wishes).
🔧 Closed again until Jan 2nd when we hit the road running with our regular business hours.
