The show stopper… an interior that is truly like no other. Soon on its way to Ibiza, this client wanted his Retro to match the island’s lifestyle. This opened up the opportunity to create something totally different to what we’re used to seeing in Defenders. What first catches your eye are the white seats, which are trimmed front and back in a thick Chenille, that gives the seats a soft, plush feel like nothing else. Next up is the raffia that covers the doorcards and headlining, standing out against the seats and offering a unique texture that harks back to the classic beach cars of the sixties. Then comes the masterpiece that is the wood flooring, extending from the rear all the way through to the front footwells. Handcrafted from Iroko wood separated by ebony inlays and carefully treated to wear gracefully and withstand a constantly changing environment.
