| E5 / E10 Petrol

We recommend using E5 petrol on all bikes, they will "run" with E10*, but the premium E5 is very much preferred...

It can be argued that E10 petrol can cause serious engine damage when used regularly. It is corrosive and highly water soluble, often leading to storage problems. If left, water in the fuel system can cause rusting, fuel degradation and other problems.

When refuelling, please make sure check the label on the petrol pump. The extra price you pay for the premium petrol outweighs the potential headache of a preventable repair bill, and will save you money in the long run.

*even if the E10 Gov checking service says it is compatible.
