Merry Christmas from all of the team at SWR! 🎄🎁🎉

Now that we are all closed up for Christmas, the tree is looking rather spruced up and populated with our favourite things - including our GSP, Tully - the voluntary SWR mascot 😂🥰

🔧Needing to get your gearbox serviced? ⚙️

SWR offer various service kits and tools so you can service them yourself. If you need a copy of the gearbox technical manual or you have any problems, we are only at the other end of the phone 📞 or drop us an email, we are always happy to help.

Alternatively, we offer 1st class servicing in house on all SADEV models. Your gearbox will have a full clean and inspection, followed by a full report by our friendly gearbox technician 🙂

MAZDA MX5 MIATA ND MK4 Rear Differential fitted with SWR's Limited Slip Diff Unit 🤩

SWR develops the standard MX5 ND casing to include an L*D unit for performance uses. We even welcome returning SWR units for servicing and refresh. 🔧

An SWR Paddle Shift Actuator Mounting Kit; shown here fitted to the Sadev SCL82-17 Type-9 gearbox using the Geartronics pneumatic actuator and also maintaining use of the gear lever so both can be run in a car at once!

Between the Duratec engine and the ZF gearbox, this adaption plate was designed to be as slim as possible for tight-fitting assemblies. At 125mm from the engine to gearbox mounting faces, the fitment is as tight as can be allowed by the gearbox's clutch shaft.
We design and machine parts in-house and are always happy to discuss projects that require reverse engineering or are completely bespoke pieces. Our 3D laser scanner, 3D CAD and 4-axis CNC mills allow us to develop new parts to replace or replicate existing parts - including the fitment and redesign of any gearbox to engine assembly!

MAZDA ND DIFF CASING development is currently being undertaken by SWR Motorsport to create a bespoke rear diff casing to house increased oil capacity and a fitting for an oil temperature sensor to help reduce and monitor the temperatures inside the diff to increase the lifetime of the internals, especially handy for performance and motorsport projects! 👍

SADEV CITROEN C2R2 GEAR POSITION SENSOR ADAPTION - SWR has recently developed an elegant solution to run a hall effect gear position sensor with the Sadev C2R2 Max gearbox! Replacing the old 5-pin contact sensor with a 4-pin hall effect contactless sensor, the increased accuracy allows use with paddle shift systems and closed loop full-throttle ignition cut systems. All new adaption parts are designed and machined in house on our CNC 4-axis milling machines and CNC lathe.
