🚨 **WE’RE HIRING – T I RECOVERY** 🚨
Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, T I Recovery is expanding the team and we currently have three full-time positions available from our base in Harlow, Essex:
🚛 1 x Heavy Recovery Driver
🚚 1 x Slidebed Recovery Driver
🔧 1 x Roadside Assistance Technician
We’re looking for experienced people who know the recovery/breakdown industry and can hit the ground running.
🚛 HEAVY RECOVERY DRIVER
We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Recovery Driver capable of dealing with a wide variety of vehicles and situations, including buses, coaches, HGVs and commercial vehicles.
You’ll need to be confident carrying out recoveries safely and professionally, dealing with customers at the roadside and representing T I Recovery to the standard our customers expect.
Previous heavy recovery experience is essential.
🚚 SLIDEBED RECOVERY DRIVER
We’re looking for an experienced Slidebed Driver to carry out vehicle recoveries, movements and breakdown-related work.
You’ll need to be confident loading and securing different types of vehicles, working independently and dealing professionally with customers.
Previous recovery/slidebed experience is essential.
🔧 ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TECHNICIAN
This role is about getting vehicles moving again wherever possible rather than simply towing them away.
You'll be attending roadside breakdowns and defects on a wide variety of commercial vehicles, with a particular focus on bus, coach, HGV and PSV work.
We need someone with strong mechanical knowledge, good fault-finding ability and the confidence to work independently at the roadside.
Previous relevant mechanical/roadside experience is essential.
⏰ HOURS & ON-CALL
Standard working hours for all three positions are:
Monday – Friday
08:00 – 18:00
All positions will also participate in an on-call rota outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Applicants must therefore be comfortable with the reality of working in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance — breakdowns don't always happen between 8 and 6!

• Are professional when dealing with customers
• Are willing to muck in and work as part of the team
• Hold the appropriate driving licence for the position
💷 PAY & PACKAGE
Competitive rates of pay based on experience, with additional earnings available through the on-call rota.

T I Recovery is a growing heavy vehicle recovery and roadside assistance business covering the UK and Europe.
We work with bus, coach, HGV, PSV and commercial vehicle operators, providing everything from roadside repairs and breakdown assistance through to heavy recovery and vehicle movements.
