🎣 Fish Safety First – No Swivels for Attaching Leaders

We would like to remind all anglers that swivels must not be used to attach leaders of any type.

Instead, please use one of the following safe and proven methods:

* ✅ Grinner (Grinder) Knot
* ✅ Palomar Knot
* ✅ Loop-to-Loop Connection
* ✅ Willis Knot
* ✅ Needle Knot

Swivels are not designed for attaching leaders. When used with lead systems, they can create a setup where the lead becomes captive, preventing it from ejecting if the line breaks. This poses a serious risk to fish welfare.

Fish safety is our highest priority. All rigs used on the fishery must allow the lead to discharge safely in the event of a breakage. Any rigs found to be unsafe or not compliant with our fishery rules will not be permitted, and anglers may be asked to change their setup before continuing to fish.

Thank you for helping us protect our fish and maintain the highest welfare standards for everyone who enjoys the fishery.
