⛵ Malta to Lanzarote Offshore Adventure

Departing Malta on 26 October, we’ll be sailing west through the Mediterranean and out into the Atlantic, with planned stops in:

📍 Sardinia
📍 Barcelona
📍 Gibraltar
📍 Lanzarote

The Gibraltar-to-Lanzarote leg can also be used as a qualifying ocean passage for Yachtmaster Ocean candidates, subject to meeting the relevant RYA requirements and taking a suitable role onboard.

A fantastic opportunity to build serious offshore mileage, experience Mediterranean and Atlantic sailing, and visit some incredible destinations along the way.

Nobody is rushing.

Nobody needs anything.

The boat is settled, the sails are doing their job and there’s a bit of sea ahead of you with nowhere you urgently need to be.

Those are often the moments you remember.

You know it’s been a good day on the water when you get home and can still feel the boat moving.

You’re standing in the shower and, for half a second, the floor seems to sway underneath you.

Anyone who sails knows exactly what I mean.

It’s a slightly strange feeling.

But it normally comes with the satisfaction of knowing you spent the day somewhere you’d rather have been.

Funny how quickly standards change on a boat.

A mug of tea that would be completely ordinary at home suddenly becomes the best tea you’ve had all week.

A dry pair of socks feels luxurious.

A simple meal tastes incredible.

And finding the perfect spot to sit for ten quiet minutes feels like winning the lottery.

Sailing has a way of making very ordinary things feel rather special.
