ADO Restoration is part of ADO Equipment Ltd, and offers full vehicle restorations for your classic. From a complete strip down and rebuild, to single panel replacement. Open Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Later evenings and weekends upon appointment.

AC Dodd is coming back to ADO Restoration, Halifax – April 2027

On 9th, 10th and 11th April, Adrian from AC Dodd Tuning will be at our Halifax garage tuning cars fitted with SU carbs, both single and twin!

Pricing (this is tune only – does not include cost of any parts needed):

Cars fitted with single SU carb - £165+VAT
Cars fitted with twin SU carbs - £330+VAT

If you’re booking an appointment for twin carbs, you’ll need a wideband gauge fitted, which our team can do in advance of your appointment.

The accident damaged Beetle is in progress, with the front-end strip in full swing.

As always, we try to retain as many original parts as possible whilst procuring the best quality parts for the bits which cannot be rescued or restored.

Ed, Andi and Blaine have done a marvellous job of undertaking all repairs, completing all necessary welding and have then seam sealed and etch primed ready for the next stage: under body stone chip!
