💥 FIRST TIME PASS! 💥
Got a phone call from my barber yesterday…
“Lee, I’ve got a driving test cancellation for tomorrow!”
Now, when I was sat in his chair the week before, I casually said:
“If you ever get a cancellation, drop me a message and I’ll sort you out.”
What I didn’t expect was for him to actually get one the following week! 😂
With less than 24 hours’ notice, we squeezed in a 2-hour session before the test. A quick assessment, a few pointers, a confidence boost… and off he went.
Result? ✅ FIRST TIME PASS
For a bit of context, he’s Kurdish and already had previous driving experience from back home, so it wasn’t a case of starting from scratch. It was more about understanding UK driving standards, what examiners are looking for, and ironing out a few habits.
Credit where it’s due though… he listened, took everything on board, and absolutely smashed it. 👏
Not bad for a student I wasn’t expecting to teach just 2 hours before his test! 😅
