Last week we recieved this beautiful Mercedes Gla into our care for an ongoing performance and starting issue.

We read the fault data via the diagnostic machine and took the vehicle for a test drive whilst monitoring the live data. The car usually only goes out for short journeys which was really the root cause of its issues.

After a swift diagnosis we got to work at stripping down the front of the engine. As suspected, we found the intake manifold to be clogged up with carbon, causing the swirl flaps to be stuck in the open position.

We cleaned out various parts also found to be clogged with carbon from short journeys causing build up. Replacement intake manifold fitted and back together.

Fault data reset and the vehicle was back to full performance and now starts at the first turn of the key.

Despite the huge strip out required, we had the vehicle repaired and fully re assembled all within the day 😀

Last month a new customer booked in with us to attempt to diagnose a coolant leak on this 2023 Volvo xc40 hybrid vehicle.

This vehicle had been back to the main dealers twice to diagnose the fault whilst still in its warranty period, and both occasions they failed to identify the leak. We diagnosed the leak within 30 minutes and gave the report to the customer. Volvo would not honour the repair as it was now 3 days out of warranty, despite the issue reported twice within its warranty period.

We got to work and replaced the high temperature radiator found to be leaking. The low temperature radiator was also replaced at the same time as to access the parts requires full front end removal and it was found to be also in poor condition.

We re-assembled the vehicle, bled the cooling system on both the cooling side and the hybrid side using special equipment. Air-conditioning serviced and back to looking beautiful 😍

🌞With the sudden increase in temperature (finally), We have had a sudden surge of vehicles booking in for Air-conditioning service and repair.
We can cater for all types of aircon systems no matter which refrigerant they take.
Today we are doubling up and doing 2 vehicles at a time!

The J Motors Yamaha R6 did us proud this morning. Matt managed a win in the pre injection 600 class with an extremely close race against his good friend Lewis. The bike has been faultless all weekend apart from a suspension issue that we sorted early in the weekend. One more race this afternoon then home time.

We are at brands hatch this weekend.
Racing in both pre injection 600 and clubman 600, not long to go till qualifying 🏍

Not long now till the new race season starts.

After a couple of years of not be able to ride much, we are hoping to compete at every round with NG road racing starting off at brands hatch next week😃🏍🏁
