This is why servicing is very important😅

Simple service job turned nightmare safe to say this golf hasn’t seen an oil and filter change in a number of years. Unfortunately oil pressure light has come on and it was game over for this little golf. Found copper material in sump from bearing caps 😅

So this is why I stress even if you don’t do the mileage still have your vehicle serviced every 12 months! It’s a lot cheaper than fitting an engine!

My own personal vehicle in for some upgrades! Unfortunately if you know anything with vws it’ll definitely be the crappy boost pipes! After temp repairing with self tappers the boost pipe let go again, so I decided to upgrade the intercooler with darkside developments one. We don’t just repair vehicles we also modify them to the customer request!

Vw bora pd150 in for no fuel pressure, this bora had unfortunately broken down and I know if you know this is a rare thing especially with a pd! Few checks found that the intank pump was working properly but the tandem pump wasn’t supplying a correct flow of fuel in order for the vehicle to fire up, the customer opted for a rebuild kit on the tandem pump, we carried this repair out and the vehicle was back in action again!

Old but gold Volvo D5 xc90 in, for lacking in power, few egr codes in system and after a quick inspection it was clear to see this vehicle was very clogged up! Rocker cover/intake manifold removed and lower boost pipe clean out along with a brand new egr valve, recommended carbon cleaning to the customer and since having this carried out after the repair the customer has noticed a massive increase in mpg and power from the vehicle. One happy customer back on the road!

Volvo v40 1.6 diesel in for a whining under boost, after our usually health checks on a vehicle it was very clear to see this vehicle was over due an air filter change! Unfortunately dirty particles had damaged the intake side of the turbo causing this damage, new turbo supplied and fitted along with a major service! Customer is back on the road again

Vauxhall Agila in for some mot failure work.

Front spring fitted did advise customer of the state of the front shocker and dust cover but only wanted the spring fitting, new spring and drop link fitted to this vehicle.

Next major was found with a leaking rear brake pipe, due to unfortunate nature of weather and salt on the roads in the uk the vehicle ended up with a new rear brake cylinder and a brake line made to suit by ourselves.

Vehicle is now ready for retest

Hyundai i30 in for an intermittent starting fault. Vehicle was scanned and no fault codes would appear in any system. When vehicle failed to start if you unlocked and locked the vehicle it would start up straight away. Tested the antenna coil for the key on the ignition barrel and found that this component wasn’t working properly!

Replaced with a genuine part, rewired in and vehicle is now up and running again with no issues!

Golf gtd in for some diagnostic work.
Customer complained of weak starting from cold in a morning or when vehicle was sat for more than 4 hours. After scanning the vehicle a few odd faults popped up on the scanner for electrical faults. Vehicles battery tested and failed. New battery fitted to the vehicle and faults cleared. Vehicle new starts as it should.

Safe to say on this little Kia rear bushes on both bottom arms didn’t look too healthy! Brand new bottom arms with ball ...

Safe to say on this little Kia rear bushes on both bottom arms didn’t look too healthy!

Brand new bottom arms with ball joints and customer is safely back on the road again!
