Happy Birthday 🎂

Well… where on earth did that year go?! We are four! 🥳

There was SO much love and happiness at Rhubarb & Rose today… actually, every day! 💕

We honestly can’t thank you all enough for keeping our little café bustling, even through the winter months. Every visit, every penny spent, every kind word, every review and every bit of support means more to us than you’ll ever know.

You’re not just keeping our little café going, you’re keeping a dream alive, and for that, we’ll always be grateful. ❤️

Four years of coffee, cake, chats, laughter and the loveliest community. We feel so lucky to be part of it all.

One of our upgrades over the winter months will be to install an EV Charger, something that has been requested this year, that will make things easier for our customers with electric vehicles.

We are now closed for the winter, for Neil, Charlie & Nicky to take their holidays and then to carry on working on the park and adding to the facilities for next year. We would like to thank everybody who has visited us and look forward to welcoming you back in 2027.

Heading to Spain this winter? 🇪🇸🚐

It's getting to that time of year when a lot of motorhomes start pointing south.

But what's actually the best way to get from the UK to Spain?

We've done the journey countless times over the years by motorhome, car and motorbike, and there isn't one route that makes sense for everyone.

You can blast down through France as quickly as possible, avoid the tolls and take it more slowly, turn the journey into a road trip, cross the Pyrenees via Somport, or skip most of France completely and take the ferry straight to northern Spain.

We've just updated our guide for winter 2026/27, with six different routes, driving times, distances, tolls, fuel costs and the pros and cons of each.

Next Saturday, 26th September at 7:30pm, we welcome back the hilarious award-winning comedian and singer-songwriter Boothby Graffoe who has teamed up with internationally acclaimed Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione for “Wot Italian?” - a hilarious and heartfelt collision of Graffoe’s sharp wit and whimsical storytelling with Forcione’s virtuosic guitar mastery. This show promises a mix of brilliantly crafted songs, laugh-out-loud banter, and jaw-dropping musical skill—all served with a side of Mediterranean flair. Highly recommended!
