“There’s no doubt about it, we have been involved in some pretty awesome projects over the years and for some really lovely clients.
There are of course some projects that one feels a little deeper for, a real pride in I mean and I think the Auto Union Type 52 in 2024 took the mantle of ‘the icing on the cake’ in terms of being the one who gets to paint it and being involved in something truly special.
Well I think it’s fair to say the absolutely bonkers yet jaw droppingly awesome Auto Union Lucca car has without a doubt been the true highlight of my 40 plus years painting cars, there is simply nothing in that time that even comes close to it.
It really is that special.
It is simply amazing what Audi Tradition and Crosthwaite & Gardiner have created, along with the independent world class specialists, ourselves included chosen for their skills and input into this project, is nothing short of truly inspiring and a real honour to have been a part of.
A real privilege..
