The new Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 is a very different proposition.

We’re currently estimating the UK price at around £4,500 and, for that, you’re looking at:

• 24kW maximum power
• 410Nm wheel torque
• 78.54V 45Ah battery
• 3.53kWh capacity
• 65kg kerb weight
• around 56mph top speed
• SRTC traction control
• new rider electronics and app connectivity

That puts the new Light Bee 2 in a really interesting position between the current Light Bee X and the Ultra Bee.

So the big question is:

If you were buying a Sur-Ron today, would you still take the Light Bee X, or would you wait for the Light Bee 2?
