Having already made a good start on his build, with a clear vision of the end product in mind but struggling to find the time to get it there he handed it over to us.

Working together, and with some new products we bought his vision to a finished products with a few extra Vango details added in along the way.

Behind the scenes.

3D modelling is an integral part of our conversion process. Using Autodesk Fusion 360 we are able to create and communicate design intentions with our clients prior to staring their build.

As well as face to face design review, virtually walking though the model, we provide our client with a few rendered shots for reference, as you can see here.

Testing lighting fitted in the window recess

Floor and cabinetry in place, handles and latches on drawers and doors

Bench top utility station made and installed, coffee machine, rear door shower and extra storage.

Grain match running though the birch plywood fronts. All lacquered with 10% sheen Renner USA Corp lacquer

Fridge vent detail made (fridge on its way) LED spots fitted in side board panel. Birch slatted roof stripped up, lacquered and fittted

Electrical set up 90% of the way there spec is as follow

Our signature 3 Berth - Molly.

Based on the L4 Fiat Ducato/L3 VW Crafter this layout creates a spacious 3 Berth with everything that’s needed for exploration in comfort. A width ways fixed bed and a reconfigurable seating area provide comfort while utilising the limited space.

The front bulkhead is always a heavily disputed area, in this build it created the perfect location for an XL shower, finished with an angled door to not restrict the walkway.

As always colours and finishes chosen by our client, bamboo accents, bold colours and a herringbone floor bring this one together nicely.

When you’re working in a small space, the space itself sets the rules.

When 2 becomes 4!

Haani chose us to convert his van 4 years. We designed the van for him and his partner who enjoy outdoor life. 4 years later and they have grown to a family of 4!

They wanted to add another traveling seat while trying not to impede the van’s original aesthetic. By modifying the original seat we were able to make some space for the folding Aguti travel seat. Its clever design means it can be completely removed and stored away when not in use.

These are a great solution if you’ve already got a camper and need to transport more people without the hefty price tag of a whole new van.
