Storm Arwen - Not the best of days to put the wrong fuel in but we got to the job done 🙂

Hornsea - Full tank (90ltr) of Diesel contaminated with AdBlue. Not realising his error after adding the AdBlue he started the van and drove approx. 100 metres before the engine cut out. A fuel drain and system purge later the engine was restarted. After advising him to have the fuel filter changed he was able to drive off smoothly and refill his tank.

To save some people the embarrasment of publically admitting an unfortunate mistake I never ask face to face for a review.

Caution - If you breakdown where car parking is free for a limited time and monitored by ANPR cameras then you will get a penalty notice if you overstay.

Had a recent job at a supermarket filling station and was asked to provide evidence of the breakdown by the customer. The company providing the carpark monitoring wouldn't take her word for it and were demanding £85.

if you can't move the vehicle then Inform the supermarket staff of your problem. They should be able to notify the appropriate person to validate your overstay. It may also be wise to take photos when the breakdown vehicle is there and try and get the store or something recognisable in the background.
