🔧 A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT WLK AUTOMOTIVE 🚗

Since introducing myself and WLK Automotive, I’ve had some really good support from people locally, and I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s liked, shared, recommended or booked work with me. It genuinely means a lot when you’re building a business from the ground up. 🙌

For anyone who hasn’t come across my page yet, I’m Sam, a fully qualified mechanic with over 10 years in the motor trade, including 8 years at Mercedes-Benz, and I’m IRTEC accredited.

I set up WLK Automotive to offer a convenient, reliable mobile mechanic service, bringing the workshop to you rather than you having to arrange getting your vehicle somewhere.

Whether it’s a routine service, brakes, a fault that needs diagnosing or a repair that’s been playing on your mind, I’m happy to have a chat and see how I can help.

I work on cars, vans and trucks across Lincolnshire, and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to help another local customer.

A question for everyone 👇

What’s the one job your vehicle needs doing that you keep putting off? 😂🔧

🥶🔧 COLDER MORNINGS ARE CREEPING IN! 🔧🥶

I’ll check the important things, including:
🔋 Battery condition
💡 Lights
🛞 Tyres
🛑 Brakes
🧊 Coolant & antifreeze
🌧️ Wipers & screenwash

If your vehicle is struggling to start, is due a service or just needs a bit of attention before winter, feel free to get in touch.

🔧 JOB RECENTLY COMPLETED 🔧

Mercedes A200d in for a voltage regulator replacement.

It’s not always a case of replacing the complete alternator, and replacing the regulator can save the customer money. A nice job nevertheless!

Battery disconnected, auxiliary belt removed, compressor disconnected and alternator removed.

The alternator was stripped down, the regulator removed and replaced, then everything built back up with a fresh auxiliary belt.

Charging system tested and working as it should, with a full scan carried out and all stored faults cleared. ✅

Another happy customer!

Another Saturday morning job completed by WLK Automotive.

This customer is busy throughout the week, so we worked around them and carried out a full service on a Saturday morning.

The old filters were heavily blocked, showing exactly why keeping on top of regular servicing is important. ✅

Once the service was completed, I carried out a full system scan and found the EGR valve isn’t operating correctly.

The customer is now booked in for a strip-down to investigate the cause and get to the bottom of the issue.

🔧 JOB RECENTLY COMPLETED 🔧

Another job completed by WLK Automotive this week.

This Range Rover Evoque came in for a front brake pad replacement.

The old brake pads were removed and replaced with new ones. The braking system was checked over, all wheels were torqued to specification, and the vehicle was road tested to make sure everything was working as it should. ✅

Keeping on top of your brakes is important for both safety and preventing further issues down the line.

If your brakes are making a noise, the warning light has come on, or you simply want them checked over, get in touch.

🔧 JOB RECENTLY COMPLETED 🔧

Another job completed by WLK Automotive this week.

This Audi came in for a rocker cover gasket replacement and auxiliary belt replacement.

The rocker cover was removed, the old gasket replaced and everything cleaned and refitted correctly, along with fitting a new belt. The vehicle was then checked over to make sure everything was running as it should. ✅

It’s jobs like this where catching an oil leak early can save you money further down the line.

If your vehicle is leaking oil, making unusual noises, due a service or you simply want something checked over, get in touch.
