Gday all

Long time no post ! Sorry.

Just a heads up. As you all may be aware. A bit of turbulence in the oil/ fuel market is pushing up prices.

So far. We have been able to absorb most of the cost.
But we have been made aware by our suppliers that costs could dramatically increase soon.

So please contact us if you’re unsure to confirm prices. As unfortunately price’s from our side may have to increase.

We hope it’s not a long term thing and the markets might settle soon.

We thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.

Gday all

Apologies for the post.

A while back we posted that we will no longer fit parts supllied by Customers.
It’s not about money. Profit or just being stubborn.

But.

Recently we’ve seen ourselves not sticking to our own rules and trying to help folks out by fitting supplied parts by themselves.

But this week alone we’ve had 2 instances where the parts have been incorrectly supplied by the customer.
Which results in vehicles being stuck on the ramp hours past allotted times whilst we try and source the correct parts ourselves.
So this can put us way behind in the working day.

So.
We shall not be fitting parts supplied by customers. From this point onwards. Sorry. We are now firm on this.
So please don’t be offended when we refuse.

Like we shall reiterate. It’s not about making money in parts. Because we are to soft and don’t.
But we have relationships with our suppliers built on trust and professionalism in regards to the parts they supply.
Which is very very seldom incorrect.

Please accept our apologies again. It’s not personal because we value each and every customer that uses us and we are always grateful of your custom.

After sump removal. Metal filings visible.
Further inspection showed that the oil pump was breaking up.
Caught just in time.

At approximately 21.00 hrs. She decided to deposit something on the drive.
We all get caught short. But cleaning up afterwards is good manners.
You would after your dog. It’s law.

We’re are not going to post what she left. As it’s quite disgusting.

It was placed in bin.

Good morning all

Please note. That from today 3/9/24

As a garage we will no longer fit any parts supplied by a customer. At all.

Sorry

This is not that we make money from parts supplied and fitted at the garage. It’s that we are seeing more and more. That parts supplied by our customers are incorrect.
This is normally found out by putting the vehicle on the ramp. Stripping the parts for replacement.
Only to find that supplied parts are wrong !

This takes up valuable time in the work day.

If our suppliers provide wrong parts ( which is rare). It’s our problem and our suppliers sort out very fast.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

This is now the only way we operate. Sorry

Good morning

As most of you know. Currently there are rather restricting and troublesome roadworks on Spon lane.
They aren’t actually roadworks. But footpath reconstruction ( if you can call it that).

If any of our customers are having issues accessing the garage by over zealous Traffic management.
Please let us know.

Also. If you’re really upset about it. Please feel free to contact Warwickshire county council on
01926 412515. Highways department.
Make your voice heard.

Now. While we understand that obviously jobs need doing.
There are limits of sanity involving this current debacle.
Many Grendon residents are unhappy about this.

Sorry if you’re inconvenienced by these works.
We have contacted the council on many occasions to voice our dissatisfaction.

Good morning

Rant time afraid.

Please do not block the gates under any circumstances as it restricts entrance/exit to the yard owners.
This is under any circumstances please.
Gate does not open ( most of the time) until 09.00.

Also we don’t allow parking at all in front of the garage as again. This restricts entrance/ exit to parts of the yard that are in constant use by vehicles. Including HGV.

We are. As you all know. A small ( thankfully) busy business and we get can get very rammed in the a small yard.

If it continues to cause issues. We may move to a strict appointment basis only afraid.
