A massive congratulations to Ruby Akers, who passed her driving test yesterday morning FIRST TIME, with just a handful of minor faults! 🥳👏

What a fantastic achievement, Ruby. You should be really proud of yourself — you worked hard for it and absolutely deserved that result.

I’ve genuinely really enjoyed our lessons together. There have been plenty of laughs along the way, and I have to say, I’ve been particularly impressed by your knowledge of 80s music. 😂 I’m still not entirely sure whether I was teaching you to drive or being secretly educated in the musical history of the decade!

You’ve now officially earned your independence, so once you get yourself a car, enjoy the freedom that comes with being able to jump in, turn the key and just go wherever you fancy. 🚗💨

Seriously though, Ruby, it’s been a pleasure teaching you. Congratulations again on a brilliant first-time pass, and I wish you loads of happy, safe miles ahead.

Brilliant news that you passed your driving test on Thursday at the second attempt.

There were a few more driver faults than we had expected, but considering it was an early morning test and Bishops Stortford is always exceptionally busy at that time of day, the important thing is that you got the result that matters – a pass!

I’m particularly pleased that you finally overcame your fear of driving in Stortford. For a long time, that was the biggest obstacle standing in your way. On the day, you controlled your anxiety, stayed focused and showed the examiner that you could drive safely and independently.

Passing a driving test isn’t just about technical ability; it’s also about managing nerves and believing in yourself. This time, you did exactly that and achieved the result you deserved.

Enjoy your freedom, stay safe on the roads and remember that learning doesn’t stop now you’ve passed – every journey will build your experience and confidence even further.
