One of our customers brought his trailer in for a inspection (yes we inspect car trailers too😁)

We carried out the inspection and the trailer was all good apart from an R clip missing from the back lock.

He also opted for brake service. With that we took apart all of the brakes, cleaned and re-greased before reassembling.

While the brakes were apart we checked for lining thickness, any unwanted cracks in the drums and of course serviceability of all the braking parts.

We had this hookloader in recently as it required new solenoid valves. We fitted the valves, after finding the correct porting configuration but the hookloader wasn’t completely playing ball.

We investigated to find one of the valves was earthing through the other due to corroded terminals. We fixed this and rejoined all the wires.

When we opened up the control box we found a makeshift “repair” if you can call it that🧐.

First things first we fixed that issue, next we were faced with a high resistance power supply wire due to Mickey Mouse who decided his cheese wasn’t quite cutting it.

We traced the wire back to the source and found the culprit. We repaired, put back together and tested and the fault is now fixed.

The customer can now carry on using their truck along with the purchase of some rodent killer 😅.

We got a phonecall from a customer, he was explaining he had an adblue leak.
We were at his yard within the hour to have a look👀. Safe to say he definitely did have a leak.
We fitted a new filter kit, yes we could’ve just changed the O ring but the customer requested a new filter.
Within the hour he was done and ready to go😱.
