***MSA NEWS***

The changes to theory test due to be introduced in April replacing the scenario based questions will now be added to car theory tests from 28th September. New videos to make the driving theory test more accessible
Video clips will replace written scenarios in the car driving theory test, bringing the test up to date and making it more accessible for everyone, from 28 September 2020.

The new video clips in the multiple-choice part of the test will show up to a 30-second scenario of different driving conditions This includers driving through a town centre or on a country road. Learners will then need to answer 3 questions about the clip.

Scotland
The Scottish Government yesterday announced that theory tests, motorcycle tests and training can resume in Scotland from Wednesday 22 July 2020.

Driving lessons and tests remain suspended. The Scottish Government will make an announcement on driving lessons on 30 July. Once it is clear when lessons are resuming there will be an announcement of when tests will start

Driving lessons and theory tests will restart on Saturday 4 July 2020 in England, and car driving tests will restart from Wednesday 22 July 2020.
