A new learner asked me this exact question the other day. I gave her the breakdown, but I realised a lot of you might be wondering the same thing!

Here is the honest truth behind the numbers:

- ๐‡๐จ๐ฐ ๐ƒ๐•๐’๐€ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ข๐ญ: The DVSA looks at an instructor's pass rate based on a rolling 12-month period.

- ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ค: Because my last student fail was back in April 2025, I haven't had a single student fail a test in over 14 months.

Now, while I work incredibly hard to prep everyone for the big day, ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญโ€”๐ข๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ณ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ. They are the ones who show up, put in the focus, and smash their tests.

Of course, nobody keeps a perfect record forever, and I know this streak will come to an end eventually. But the longer it lasts, the better! Because it means more and more of my students are getting their ๐‹๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐“๐จ ๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐๐จ๐ฆ (๐‹๐“๐…) at the very first opportunity. ๐ŸŽ‰
