Nice little Suzuki Swift in last week for a clutch replacement. Was recovered to us after been let down by another local garage.
Clutch was only available as a genuine part but wasn’t ridiculously expensive, job was completed within the quoted labour times of 4.5 hours.
We find it disappointing that some independent garages seem to take advantage of people and quote extortionate prices for jobs that aren’t that difficult.
One satisfied customer 👍

That concludes our weekend at Cadwell Park,

2nd race, good start from pole, managed to finish 2nd Overall and 1st in class,

3rd race, not such a good start, managed to fight back and finish again 2nd overall and 1st in class

So race 1 done, it was certainly eventful.
So started P2, made a right hash of the start and dropped to 6th, made my back up to 4th pretty quickly and got in a good scrap for 2nd. Safety car then out for an incident, racing resumed and then a good scrap for 3rd with Andrew Hayward with some contact on passing (nothing serious, rubbing is racing😆)
passed and then repass, lap later managed 2nd place in a pass on the same corner, but a few corners later span off when trying too hard when I didn’t need to(twat). They both re passed bearing in mind this was the last lap, came round the hairpin 2 corners from the end and Andrew’s rejoining after being off on the grass, sparks flying Andrew’s managed to just beat me over the line effectively on 3 wheels😬

We’re at Cadwell Park this weekend, qualifying done, 1st in class, 2nd overall.
Very close between the top 4, so might have a bit of a fight on my hands.
P2 on the grid for race 1 today
First ever pole position for race 2 tomorrow morning!!!
