Ford ranger in for an oil change and pre mot inspection ready to be advertised for sale and we noticed that the engine had a very noticeable rattle on idle. We invited the customer in to have a listen and explain the issue and the repair procedure and we were instructed to carry out the repair. Chain flapping like mad and the tensioner at full extension were soon swapped out for a complete replacement kit and it was soon back up and running smooth and quietly.

We had the pleasure of this little pocket rocket fiat 500 abarth in for a full service and mot test, customer was advised that the car was coming up to its recommended timing belt replacement interval so they asked for that to be done while it was with us. They also brought along a big box of goodies to upgrade how the car breathes, handles and stops. We got the standard parts off and swapped over to the supplied upgraded parts and what a difference it made. We also got asked to recommend somebody to do a ecu remap and we handed that over to Tune Automotive and what an amazing job they did with the map, making this already quick car even better. Car handed back to one seriously happy customer to enjoy and have fun with.

Returning customer enquiried if we'd be willing to replace an engine in a car of his that had been off the road for some time. Absolutely we were. Car was recovered in and the old engine removed and the engine he supplied was fully checked over and installed along with a new timing belt and water pump and a engine service. Vehicle was then mot tested and the few minor issues were addressed and the car was back on the road and the customer made up to be able to enjoy driving his baby again.

Customer dropped his van off for a vibration and shaking on his steering wheel under heavy braking. We got the van on the lift and did a visual inspection on the brakes and carried out a run out check with the dial gauge on the discs to find the passenger side front was well out of tolerance. With the discs removed the hubs were also checked for any run out with the dial gauge and they were perfect so a simple brake discs and pads change and the customer back on the road and happy the issue was resolved with no big expense.

We've had the pleasure of this lovely audi a6 ultra in for a full service, timing belt and water pump replacement. The owner was very lucky as the timing belt was 12 months and 8000 miles overdue it's replacement interval and the belt condition certainly looked it. Complete kit fitted with pump and new auxiliary belt, fresh antifreeze and cooling system bled the correct way with the appropriate diagnostic equipment and its was all running perfectly. Full service carried out and the car was returned to a very happy customer.
