Corvette C8 by Shark Car Design.

A unique project designed by Andrea Melis Custom Car Design, combining aggressive styling, premium details and high-performance character.

The build features a Z06-style front conversion, custom forged wheels, carbon fibre details, vertical doors, a lowered stance and a custom engine-bay window that allows the engine to remain visible even on the convertible version.

Every detail has been carefully selected to create a Corvette C8 that is distinctive, elegant and unmistakably Shark.

This Corvette C8 had to be completely dismantled after the engine warning lights and diagnostic fault codes indicated a serious problem with the exhaust system.

Once the exhaust was removed, the cause became obvious: incorrectly fitted nuts and bolts, loose fixings, damaged gaskets, connectors installed the wrong way around, stretched wiring, damaged threads, and numerous installation errors.

The diagnostic scan confirmed multiple faults relating to the exhaust system and exhaust valve control, making it necessary to remove and reinstall the entire exhaust system correctly.

Before trusting anyone with your car, don't rely only on what you see on Facebook or Instagram. Always make sure you're dealing with a genuine, registered business with real customer reviews, proven experience, and a professional reputation built over time.

At Shark Car Design, we learned this lesson the hard way and, unfortunately, we're still paying the consequences today. That's why we now choose to work only with trusted, qualified professionals and reputable businesses.

We're bringing these brake calipers back to the standard they deserve.

The previous finish wasn't up to the level we expect. In several areas the paint is already peeling due to poor surface preparation, so we're stripping everything back to bare metal and starting again from scratch.

Unfortunately, not everyone in this industry works to the same standards. Before trusting someone with your vehicle, always check their previous work, reviews and references, and make sure they have the experience and the correct insurance in place. A poor-quality job often ends up costing far more than having it done properly the first time.

At Shark Car Design, we don't believe in shortcuts. We'd rather strip everything back and do the job properly than cover up someone else's mistakes.
