This is how the Drivelodge Pop Top snd L. R. Bits / Pennine Overland looks on the inside, with the roof down. No impact on the drivers head room or reduction of head height in the back. At only 30Kgs, this pop top system has little or no impact on the off road ability of the Defender.

Is it a Land Rover Defender?? No, it is a Santana PS10. Brother to the Defender, but very different construction. How hard could it be to convert it to a pop top camper with a pop top roof and folding bed?? Quite difficult was the answer, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Time was against us as the Ferry tickets were booked and off she went straight off on a trip to the South of France. What do you think? Going looking camper?
