We will be closed from February 21st for a family holiday. Re-opening as normal Friday 1st March. The office will be open for enquiries and to make bookings but the workshop will be completely closed. Please remember to book in before this if you need anything. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing all customers on our return.

So we are ending another year, and its been an absolutely amazing last 12 months here at Calton Road Garage. We have had our first Ferrari, sorted out several porsche, lotus, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and many other vintage and classic cars.
However it has been the day to day stuff, needed by everyone to get to work, or work vehicles, the family cars, builders vans, NHS workers, and people who need their vehicles to just keep going so they can provide a service or survive in these difficult times.
These are the jobs that we feel most proud of, helping people to carry on with the knowledge that Calton Road Garage is behind them all the way with honest, fair prices and courtesy as deserved.
So its a big thanks to all our customers for all your trust and giving us the opportunity to work on your behalf and keeping you on the road.
This year at the garage.
Jamie has proven to be a great leader, steering the whole team in a forward direction, and surprisingly only got one speeding ticket.
Dan has been at the admin helm and continues to be the real boss.
Steve has become a most invaluable member of the team and brought some unique practices to the workshop, we will leave that there.
Jesse J has proven to be a brilliant asset to the team, and finally accepted that he needs glasses.
Ted, Kacie, has owned the tyres and now is at college, good luck to his tutors.
Clive is working at our bodyshop and still part of the team, he still manages to get the hump about everything.
Esther is a new member to the family, providing essential supplies such as cakes and chips.
So once again a big thank you from the Calton Road Garage team to all and look forward to seeing you in the new year
merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.

With Christmas fast approaching, we shall be closing at 5pm on Thursday 22nd December and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January 2023

The past few months at Calton Road Garage have once again been chaotic and busy so the upload schedule is as consistance as a Transit starter motor (Not great.) As we can see in the pictures we have had some different jobs in one of them being a Nissan Almera GTI not a car you see everyday that has just been pulled out of storage. A Mk1 Golf GTI engine has been pulled out and stripped by the best apprentices anyone could ask for Kacie and Jesse. Steve has become the main man on the engine changes which he is over the moon about.

The past few weeks.
Steve is now known as the donkey of the Calton Road Garage doing the jobs nobody wants to do.
Jamie worked on a Ferrari and believes he is now the main man.
Jesse jay has taken home the hamster after becoming a brake pipe and hose specialist.
Kacie bought a peugeot and believes it’s his own racecar.
Danni has once again carried the office side of the business.

These past few weeks at Calton Road Garage have been very busy and alot of work has been done. In these pictures we see that Forges MK1 Golf was back on the ramp again for a fuel leak(Jamies favourite car to work on). Steve done a few good jobs one being a cambelt and waterpump, also a whole new subframe on a Vauxhall Corsa. A lovely old school Rover 4 came into the garage asking questions about bodywork on it which we sent down to Clive. Jamie done some welding for Kacie on a exhaust system.

This week at Calton Road.

Jesse had multiple days off.
Jamie bought another new v**e.
Danni complained she worked longer than her scheduled hours.
Steve sold a car to Young Kacie.
Kacie became the main Apprentice whilst Jesse was not here.

This week at The Calton Road Garage we have had even more motors in such as the Lotus Elan, a Chevrolet Camaro with a V8 6.2 litre engine. The jobs that have been done this week are.

Jay done rear shockers on a Ferrari.
Steve done 2 clutches then had Friday off.
Dan keeps complaining about her own car.
Jesse is now the designated MOT driver.
Clive is still in the great beyond at the body shop.
Kacie is the still the master of the tyre game even though he complains he wants to go home all the time.

The Calton Road Garage facebook hasn’t been as active as it was and that’s because Clive decided to give it up and work for the body shop that we are partnered with. The page has now been taken over by the main man Kacie (Clive wasnt very good at it). The past few months we have had some lovely cars in such as a Ferrari 456 in for MOT with a beautiful v12 engine. We had a Porsche 911 in for a waterpump which the Main mechanic Jay fitted.

So far It’s mostly the same Jesse Jay moaning about his corolla not being finished.
Jamie telling us he’s very good at his job even though he took a 4 day holiday to Spain.
Steve still loves his French cars and is now a member of Snap on.
Dan has even more days off but does her work in her little shack.
Kacie is doing absolute wonders on everything especially the tyres.

hi guy's, it's been a while since we last put up a post on Calton Road Garage and a lot has changed since. Jamie has been busy streamlining the business to accommodate all types of vehicles, from classic cars to kit cars and the everyday vehicles we all use.
MOTs are at a maximum so please book in early.
services are also at a all time high.
tyres are moving off the shelves.
and in general we have been so busy that we almost need a bigger place.
On the news front, Clive has left and set up our bodyshop division, and Mr Steve Elvey has become a full time member of the Calton family who we all welcome with huge open arms.
Jamie burnt his leg on a kit car, so a fake injury.
Jesse J passed his driving test so a big congratulations to him.
kacie has improved in the tyre department.
Dan as always is just ace.
Steve has a way the birds, clutches and anything very technical.
Clive is no more. though some might say, oasis.
So big changes at Calton Road Garage but we still offer our friendly and unique service to all.
