A seriously wild build from Jordan 🔥

This 1988 GSXR 400 has been completely transformed now running a turbo setup with fuel injection and individual throttle bodies, all controlled through a standalone MaxxECU, paired with an ECUMaster dash and PDM. Every bit of fabrication was handled in-house by Jordan, including the turbo system and exhaust, custom fuel tank, water/meth tank, and even the front rack. He also fabricated decompression plates to lower the engines compression to cope with the boost.

After wrapping up the build earlier this month, the bike hit the dyno at Cross Customs and was ready to stretch its legs. Over the weekend, it laid down an impressive 11.1-second quarter mile at 123 mph, backed up by a sharp 1.6-second 60ft.

And the best part? There’s still plenty left in it with some chassis tweaks and rider positioning, this setup is only going to get quicker.

From fabrication to wiring to final assembly, we’ve been hands-on with this build every step of the way—and seeing it take 3rd place in the Show And Shine Competition at its first show makes all the hard work worth it! A few final touches and improvements to go, and we’re determined to bring home 1st place at the next event.
