Blocked EGR Valves…

It’s becoming apparent that the new euro6 Volkswagen engine commonly fitted in the Transporter T6 and the new shape crafter is giving engine management issues due to the EGR valves and coolers blocking up.

Generating EGR insufficient flow trouble codes stored thus make engine management light illuminate.

Here at Automech we’re kitted out with the latest Terraclean equipment to clean these in-situ here are some before and after pics one of 2 transporters successfully cleaned this week. (Excuse the bubbles left after the clean).

Commercial Vehicle Terraclean...

Recently we had this work van arrive into us showing an engine warning lamp, after diagnosis we found this was due to low flow EGR.

Here at Automech Gloucester we're equipped with all the Terraclean tools needed to professionally clean VAG EGR systems, which is much more cost effective than buying new.

If you've got DPF, EGR or any other number of running issues, why not contact us to see if we're able to assist.

Even if you care for your car like a true enthusiast - regular services, premium fuel, the best possible oil - it will still lose performance with time and usage.

Carbon build-up and residue left by fuel additives cause loss of BHP and torque in all engine types - diesel or petrol; turbo, supercharged or naturally aspirated.

Find out how TerraClean can restore lost engine performance by giving us a call or sending a Facebook Message.

What is ?

TerraClean is also the only Decarbonising System that has two separate machines one dedicated to Petrol the other specifically for Diesel engines. Why?

Because Petrol and Diesel engines work differently, use different fuels and combustion technology - so why have a single solution for two very different technologies.

When you choose a TerraClean Service you can be assured it’s been developed with your engine in mind and uses technology safe for combustion in your vehicle.

If you'd like to find out more or book your vehicle in for a Terraclean, don't hesitate to send us a message or contact us on the details below:
