Are you young, fit, reliable and not afraid of a bit Graft?
Can you tell the difference between a tyre and a wheel? Bonus points.
Can you lift a tyre without immediately asking for a sit-down? Even better. 😂
We’re looking for a young tyre fitter to join the team.
What you’ll be doing:
🛞 Fitting and balancing tyres
🔧 Removing and refitting wheels
💨 Puncture repairs
🚗 Keeping customers’ cars moving
🧹 Keeping the workshop tidy — yes, that means sweeping up after yourself!
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
This is NOT a job for someone who thinks “hard work” means replying to an email before lunch.
You’ll be on your feet, getting your hands dirty, lifting wheels, shifting tyres and “putting in a proper shift” There will be cold mornings, wet days and the occasional tyre that seems to weigh approximately the same as a small family car.
But if you're keen to learn, have a good attitude, enjoy working with your hands and aren’t scared of a bit hard work,
we’ll teach you the trade.
Experience would be a bonus, but reliability and making sure the job is done correctly matters more here at chucks
